These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization . Position Responsibilities : Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning Contributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality Raise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated Works on prototyping and evaluates technical feasibility Design, maintain, and communicate the high-level system architecture for all major system components (as-is and to-be) Ensure common shared understanding of overall system design across all teams thereby meeting organization level goals Participate in development cadence (sprint / stand-up) to ensure architectural goals are being met (design is working) or to gather information for architecture updates (design needs change) Develop and maintain the System Architecture Document (SAD) which tracks any high-level design details not covered in code Develop, prioritize, maintain and communicate the technical roadmap for the overall product Negotiate technical priorities with the Product Manager to ensure strong balance between product features and technical quality Represent technical priorities in detailed planning / analysis sessions to ensure higher level product goals are being met Develop, maintain, review and communicate for the product, ensuring these are addressed in the testing program Communicate with product and customer stakeholders\' level NFRs to ensure NFRs are meeting product goals Sets the release / branching processes for the organisation Lead and develop PoC\'s for new components, subsystems, features or products as required Support Dev Leads with challenging code level technical problems Oversee development locally and answer queries on a day-to-day basis Participate in pair programming or code review sessions to maintain a strong understanding of the implementation Develop and maintain review artifacts required for architectural level product reviews such as FFU BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Technical Bachelor\'s degree or Master degree in IT field or equivalent. At least 15 years of experience in Software development and architecture in a highly regulated industry At least 10 years of experience working and executing with software development design patterns, methodology and life cycle At least 5 years of experience working with legacy technology modernization and refactoring techniques such as domain driven design (DDD), event storming, strangler fig, transitional architectures, etc. At least 5 years of experience bringing distributed, cloud-native, API and Microservices architecture including service orchestration into production. At least 5 years of experience with application performance management technologies, diagnostics, and issue resolution management At least 5 years of experience in development frameworks, cloud native technologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, UML, Java, .Net, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, AWS/Azure Cloud At least 5 years of experience with delivering High Availability (HA), resilient solutions that meet regulatory requirements and information security standards Proven experience leading a globally distributed team Proven experience to research, advise, compare and recommend technology solutions ability to demonstrate and maintain method of keeping current on new technologies Demonstrated ability to create positive impact on customer by developing polished, cohesive, effective, and user-friendly applications for large and complex aviation related systems. Desire to learn and conduct hands-on experimentation, product evaluations and proof of concepts in various diverse array of technologies Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages. Experience in best practices and Tools around CI/CD Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones Extensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/User Story creation as well as solution design and architecture Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor\'s degree or higher Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+10 years\' related work experience, etc.).
