Job Description

:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MySQL DBA & RHEL Administrator to join our Infrastructure team. The role involves managing and optimizing MySQL databases while ensuring system reliability and availability on RHEL platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in installation, patch upgrades, performance tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and troubleshooting.

Skills Required:

MUST - L2 Infra position with strong expertise in RHEL (Linux) and MySQL Database Administration. Perform installation, configuration, and patch upgrades of MySQL databases. Manage and monitor MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime. Set up and maintain replication, Data Center (DC) & Disaster Recovery (DR) synchronization. Conduct database maintenance: index rebuilding, query optimization, and database tuning. Proactively identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks. Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient database usage. Define and enforce database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data. Monitor and analyze database performance metrics and recommend improvements. Plan and execute database migration and upgrade projects. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents in a timely manner. Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech / B.E / MCA

MySQL DBA Certification (Mandatory)
