Job Summary
The Senior Service Engineer - MRI will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MRI systems in the Kerala region. This role demands strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with MRI systems, and the ability to provide excellent customer support to ensure seamless equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and commission MRI scanners and related equipment at client sites.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing as per company standards.
Provide technical support and training to customers and junior engineers.
Maintain accurate service logs, documentation, and service reports.
Coordinate with the service team and OEM partners for parts, escalations, and updates.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company service procedures.
Support the sales and applications team in technical evaluations and demonstrations when required.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in installation and service of MRI systems (preferably multi-vendor experience such as GE, Siemens, Philips, Hitachi, etc.).
Strong understanding of MRI principles, system components, and RF technology.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Proficient in handling customer interactions and providing on-site technical support.
Willingness to travel extensively within the Kerala region and occasionally across India.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
