We are seeking a Senior MongoDB Developer / Data Modeler to provide advisory support for a client transitioning their application backend to MongoDB. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to evaluate, guide, and recommend robust architectural solutions.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate whether MongoDB is the right fit for the client's specific use case.

Provide guidance on optimal data modeling and architecture approaches.

Offer advisory support on hybrid or alternative solutions, such as MongoDB + Snowflake.

Required Technical Skills:

Senior-level experience in MongoDB data modeling and architecture.

Ability to challenge and validate architectural decisions confidently.

Familiarity with hybrid database architectures (e.g., integrating MongoDB with Snowflake or other relational databases).

Strong understanding of the trade-offs between NoSQL and RDBMS.

Comfortable working in a consulting/advisory-only capacity.

Hands-on experience with large-scale data modeling, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain domains (e.g., BOM data).
