Senior Modeler - Main Steel

in Hosur location.

5-8 Years

Role Overview:

Responsible for modeling main structural steel elements in Tekla under guidance of the Main Steel Lead. Ensure accuracy and adherence to ASIC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain accurate main steel models according to drawings.
Ensure fabrication drawings and model outputs meet ASIC standards.
Coordinate with Senior Lead for task assignments and progress tracking.
Assist junior modelers in resolving modeling challenges.
Identify discrepancies and suggest improvements to reduce errors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience in Tekla Structures with ASIC standards.
Strong main steel modeling and detailing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive in identifying and solving modeling challenges.

Department-Specific Requirements:

1. Expertise in main steel connections, beams, columns, and bracings.

2. Experience in generating fabrication-ready models.

3. Understanding of load-bearing and structural requirements for main steel components.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Standards: Strong knowledge of ASIC / AISC / IS standards is mandatory.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in Tekla Structures (latest versions preferred).
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting tools is an added advantage.
Experience in GA, fabrication & erection drawings, connections & assemblies.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
