Senior / Mid-Level Accounts Executive (Export & Documentation Specialist)

Gurgaon / within 30-40 km radius (candidates must be local or willing to relocate)



We are seeking a seasoned

Accounts / Export Documentation Specialist

with 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing & exporting facility. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in handling export bills, documentation, regulatory compliance, and should be based in or near Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full cycle of

export documentation

: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export licenses, etc. Prepare, check and process

export bills

to ensure accuracy with export regulations and compliance standards. Coordinate with freight forwarders / shipping agents / customs / regulatory bodies to ensure timely clearance and shipment. Liaison with banks for export finance, letters of credit (LC), insurance, etc. Maintain accurate records of all export documentation and ensure that documentation audit trails are intact. Reconcile export records with accounting books; ensure export-related entries are properly posted. Handle queries related to export documentation, shipping delays, or regulatory / customs issues. Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements in export operations. Support internal process improvements in export & accounting workflows. Report to senior management about export documentation performance, delays, non-compliance issues, etc.
Required Experience & Skills

Experience:

10-12 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing & export operations / facility. Strong knowledge of export bills & documentation, regulatory compliance, customs & shipping formalities. Proficient in banking procedures related to exports (e.g. LC, payment collections, export credit). Good working knowledge of ERP/accounting software, MS Excel etc. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work under deadlines. Good communication skills in coordinating with internal teams and external regulators / agents. Based in Gurgaon or ready to relocate; candidates coming from farther than 30-40 km must be willing to relocate.
