Senior MERN Stack Developer

with strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Role Overview

This senior role requires a seasoned developer who can lead development initiatives, contribute to architecture decisions, and manage client interactions with professionalism and clarity. You will work on scalable, production-grade applications and mentor junior developers within the team.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Next.js). Lead technical discussions, drive key architectural decisions, and ensure high coding standards across the team. Collaborate with clients, gather technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful delivery of project milestones. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and real-time features (Socket.io). Implement, optimize, and maintain AWS cloud resources including Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFront, SES, and related services. Configure and manage cron jobs, background tasks, and serverless workflows. Set up and maintain transactional email systems using Nodemailer or AWS SES. Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and ensure best practices across the development cycle. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure application reliability. Contribute to CI/CD workflows, deployment strategies, and automation pipelines.

Requirements

Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Next.js). Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), modern React patterns, and backend architecture. Proven experience working with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, EC2, SES, API Gateway). Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with real-time systems. Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client calls, requirement discussions, and technical presentations. Ability to take ownership, lead projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Deep understanding of Git workflows and development best practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience with UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, MUI, or Bootstrap. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments. Experience with Firebase or other cloud platforms. Background in product-based development or client-facing roles. Understanding of microservices, caching strategies (Redis), and performance tuning.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
