Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, test, and deploy high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand business goals and convert them into technical requirements Lead development from concept to completion, ensuring high quality and timely delivery Build responsive, cross-browser-compatible, and user-friendly front-end interfaces Develop and integrate secure and efficient backend APIs Optimize application performance, security, and scalability Manage project timelines and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders Implement version control, branching strategies, and DevOps workflows Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices Train, mentor, and guide junior developers on coding standards and architecture Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in web development and suggest improvements Manage deployments, environments, and ensure smooth CI/CD workflows Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn designs into functional and pixel-perfect web applications

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3+ years of professional hands-on experience with the MERN stack Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design Experience in API design, RESTful services, and third-party integrations In-depth understanding of MongoDB queries, schema design, and performance tuning Knowledge of React Hooks, state management tools (like Redux), and component-based architecture Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js and Express.js Experience working with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar version control tools Ability to debug, test, and resolve performance issues across the stack Excellent communication skills for client interaction and documentation Highly confident and proactive in taking ownership of any development challenge

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure Experience with React Native or mobile-first frameworks Basic knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines Hands-on experience with GraphQL or WebSockets
