About the Role:
We are looking for a
Senior Merchandiser - Uniforms
who will manage sampling, costing, vendor coordination and end-to-end merchandising execution for uniform products.
Key Responsibilities:
Sample Development
Develop product samples as per the requirements.
Coordinate with design, fabric and production teams for approvals.
Mock up
Ideate and develop new bag & seasonal category SKUs.
Costing & Negotiation
Prepare cost sheets, negotiate with vendors and finalize cost.
Maintain BOM, costing sheets & margin tracking
Order Execution & Tracking
Supervise entire production & range planning.
Ensure smooth execution from PO to dispatch.
Monitor work-in-progress across factory lines.
Overlook end-to-end production timelines.
Manage all necessary documentation for seamless order closure execution.
Vendor Management
Build strong relationships with fabric suppliers, stitching units, printing partners.
Identify new vendors for cost, capacity and quality improvement.
Quality Assurance
Monitor raw material and finished goods QC.
Undertake product reconciliation.
Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain accurate stock for raw materials & finished goods.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain production, costing and delivery MIS.
MUST HAVES:
4-5 years merchandising experience in bags / rainwear / winterwear / outdoor gear
Strong product knowledge in developing uniforms / fabric combinations.
Should have managed handling & leading a team.
Should have managed processing bulk order (~1 lakhs units)
Hands-on with costing sheets & vendor management
Ability to work in founder-driven, high-speed environment.
Good Excel skills / ERP / MS Office
Ownership mindset + speed + execution focus
Ability to multitask and manage multiple clients.
Should have managed handling and leading a team.
Should have knowledge on fabric & garment construction and quality parameters.
Qualification:
Graduate with specialization in fashion / garment (will be preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
