Job Title: Senior Merchandiser - Leather Handbags

Location: IMT Manesar, Gurugram

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities & Skills Required:

Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to buyers and leading product pitches. Ability to interpret mood boards and develop collections aligned with current trends. In-depth knowledge of leather, bag construction, and manufacturing techniques. Proficient in fashion forecasting and trend analysis. Capable of independently managing sampling, production timelines, and follow-ups. Expertise in product costing, material planning, and allocation. Proactive in identifying and mitigating production risks. Leadership qualities to guide and motivate junior merchandisers and cross-functional teams. Ethical work approach with a results-driven mindset.
Experience & Qualification:

5 to 10 years of relevant experience in fashion, leather goods, or export merchandising. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and costing tools. Team management experience is preferred.
