Job Description

:

We are looking for a

qualified MEP Engineer

with strong expertise in

plumbing and electrical systems

to join our growing design and execution team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in preparing

plumbing layouts, material estimations, and BOQs

, along with a sound understanding of MEP coordination in architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed plumbing and electrical layouts

for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Perform

estimation and cost analysis

for plumbing and drainage systems. Prepare

BOQ, material take-offs, and rate analysis

for all MEP works related to plumbing. Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical teams for

service integration and clash resolution

. Review and validate

shop drawings and as-built drawings

. Conduct

site visits

to verify plumbing layout execution and ensure design compliance. Prepare technical documentation, vendor coordination, and procurement support.

Required Skills & Experience:

B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent.

4+ years of experience

in MEP design with a

focus on plumbing systems

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD / Revit MEP / Excel

for estimation and drafting. Strong understanding of

building codes, standards, and plumbing design principles

. Experience preparing

cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports

. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on

interior fit-out or commercial building projects

. Familiarity with

HVAC and electrical coordination

will be an added advantage. Knowledge of

value engineering

and cost optimization techniques.
