Job Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at project sites, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute MEP works (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting) as per approved drawings and specifications. Review MEP drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals. Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to statutory norms. Supervise contractors and subcontractors for timely and accurate execution. Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Monitor material consumption and prepare reconciliation statements. Identify variations, prepare estimates, and support billing/certification. Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other stakeholders to avoid clashes. Maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or relevant discipline).

Experience

3-8 years of relevant experience in MEP works for construction/infrastructure projects (Residential, Commercial, Industrial).

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of MEP systems and site execution Understanding of IS codes and local regulations BOQs, rate analysis, and material reconciliation Vendor and contractor coordination Good communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in AutoCAD; basic knowledge of MS Excel/MS Project preferred
