Senior Medical Marketing Representative

Job Description


We are looking for a persuasive senior medical marketing representative to promote and sell company medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals for a pharmaceutical company dealing in Agro based medical research and products with a vision to reimage the future of Indian Agriculture and health living. Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating, presenting, and selling medications and products to healthcare staff including doctors, pharmacists in the retail sector, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Attending and organising training sessions, conferences, and sales meetings.
  • Scheduling and arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular \'cold\' calling, to promote company medications.
  • Setting clear objectives and developing strategies for each account to drive penetration and growth
  • Establishing good rapport with Internal/external decision markers
  • Establishing sound understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, key trends
  • Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest product data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.
  • Demonstrate and develop personal capabilities in thinking about, acting on and achieving business objectives in a manner that goes beyond just the sales call.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years sales experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle to commute.
  • Opportunities occur throughout India, but the job usually involves responsibility for a particular geographical area.
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues.
