Role Summary and Impact
The Senior Media Planning Executive will assist in developing and managing digital media plans, campaign management, reporting and analysis. A key part of their role would be to ensure coordination between internal teams, vendors, and clients. A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, ability to work seamlessly in a team setup, and familiarity with the digital media landscape will be eventually essential to attain success in the role.
What your day looks like at EssenceMediacom

  • Assisting in Digital Media Planning: Support the development of digital media plans across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Programmatic, YouTube) to align with client goals and objectives. Help with audience targeting, budget allocation, and scheduling.
  • Internal Team / Vendor Coordination on Campaigns: Closely work with internal teams towards day-to-day management of digital media campaigns, ensuring smooth implementation. Assist the team with relevant brief in coordination with digital vendors, publishers, and platform representatives.
  • Documentation, Reporting & Analysis: Create, maintain accuracy and timely updating of key documents [Media Plans, Reports etc.]. Furthermore, support in tracking and analyzing campaign performance data. Assist in generating reports, monitoring KPIs (e.g., impressions, reach, VTR, CTR etc), and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Creative Coordination: Work closely with clients and their creative agencies to ensure the timely delivery of assets.
  • Internal Communication: Support communication between internal teams (e.g., activation, analytics, operations) to ensure campaigns are executed as per the plan and in alignment with client expectations.
  • Latest Media Trends: Stay updated on emerging trends and updates in the digital media landscape, providing insights to help improve planning processes and strategies.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital media planning, campaign management, or related digital marketing roles.
  • Familiarity with key digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of media planning tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) would be good to have.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop in the digital media space.
