Develop and implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
Develop and maintain technical procedures and standards for mechanical maintenance.
Manage spare parts requirements and inventory for maintenance activities.
Oversee and manage budgets for maintenance activities and facility renewal.
Troubleshooting & Reliability:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and recommend improvements.
Ensure the highest quality of maintenance operations, including those performed by contractors.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior maintenance staff.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for mechanical engineering and maintenance.
Support team development and implement policies and plans for the engineering department.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and quality standards.
Monitor and manage the certification and validity of equipment.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience:
Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance, often with several years in a leadership role.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is common.
