Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer in the Flexipack Industry is responsible for the

installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of flexible packaging machinery

such as extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch-making machines. The role focuses on

machine efficiency, preventive maintenance, quality improvement, and production support

to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

1. Machine Operation & Maintenance

Maintain and troubleshoot

flexible packaging machines

, including: Blown film / cast film extrusion lines Rotogravure / flexographic printing machines Solvent & solvent-less laminators Slitting and rewinding machines Pouch-making and bag-making machines Perform

preventive and breakdown maintenance

to minimize downtime. Monitor machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
2. Production Support

Coordinate with production teams to meet

daily output and quality targets

. Reduce machine stoppages, material wastage, and setup/changeover time. Support new product trials, process improvements, and machine modifications.
3. Qualifications

Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2-8 years experience

in the flexipack / packaging / industry. Experience with

extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, or pouching machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
