We are seeking a

self-driven and innovative Mechanical Engineer

R&D team

sheet metal enclosures, CNC machined parts, and precision assemblies

Key Responsibilities

Design & Innovation

Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative enclosures, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts. Continuously bring

fresh design ideas

and challenge conventional methods to improve products. Apply

creative problem-solving

to achieve performance, aesthetics, and cost optimization.

Prototyping & Manufacturing

Translate ideas into tangible prototypes using CNC machining, sheet metal, and fabrication processes. Collaborate with vendors and workshop teams to bring designs from CAD to reality. Validate, refine, and enhance designs through iterative prototyping.

R&D Contribution

Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions with

innovative design inputs

. Conduct feasibility studies and explore new materials, processes, and techniques. Ensure designs are

future-ready, scalable, and manufacturable

.

Collaboration & Ownership

Work closely with electrical, electronics, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated product designs. Take

complete ownership

of assigned projects - from idea to design to realization. Mentor junior team members with design insights and practical problem-solving approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

or related field.

2-5 years

of experience in product design, R&D, or mechanical development. Proficiency in

SolidWorks

(3D modeling, assemblies, sheet metal module) and

AutoCAD

(2D drafting). Hands-on expertise in

sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding, and finishing processes

. Strong knowledge of

tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFM/DFA principles

. Proven ability to

take initiative, think out-of-the-box, and enhance design ideas

. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

thermal management

for enclosures. Familiarity with

PLM/PDM tools

. Exposure to

mechanical validation tests

(vibration, IP rating, environmental). Knowledge of

cost optimization

in sheet metal & machining.
