We are looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the execution of complex industrial piping and static equipment installation projects. You will be responsible for ensuring installations meet all technical, safety, and quality standards from planning through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead field engineering activities for the installation of piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers, and packaged equipment.
Develop, review, and approve method statements, installation procedures, and technical drawings.
Provide on-site technical direction and supervision to construction contractors and crews.
Ensure compliance with international codes (ASME, ANSI, API) and project specifications.
Coordinate closely with Project Management, Planning, QA/QC, and HSE departments.
Troubleshoot and resolve field issues, providing practical engineering solutions.
Support material verification, constructability reviews, and schedule adherence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in piping and equipment installation, specifically within heavy industrial environments (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or related).
Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3 and relevant equipment standards.
Proven experience with construction sequencing, heavy lifts, alignment, and welding.
Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with stress analysis software is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and GA drawings.
