We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 12+ years of experience to provide technical leadership in material handling systems, engineering study development, and vendor management. In this role, you will lead the evaluation, design, and optimization of mechanical and material handling solutions, prepare and review detailed study and feasibility reports, and support key project decisions. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors, managing technical reviews, coordination, and compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, cost, and schedule expectations. This full-time role, based in Bangalore with project exposure across India, is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings strong analytical capability, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable mechanical solutions.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and optimization of material handling systems, including conveyors, bulk and unit handling solutions, storage systems, and automated equipment.
  • Develop, review, and validate engineering study reports, feasibility studies, and techno-commercial evaluations to support project planning and execution.
  • Provide technical leadership across all project phases, from early-stage studies through detailed engineering and execution support.
  • Manage vendor engagement, including technical evaluation, selection, coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, and technical submissions for compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical and material handling systems within overall plant or facility layouts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and risk reduction through sound engineering judgment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
  • Support project execution through technical reviews, troubleshooting, and resolution of mechanical and vendor-related issues.
