Role Objective:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to lead engineering design activities for mechanical systems used in factory environments. The candidate will focus on clean and general HVAC systems, including ducting design, and ensure compliance with ISO Class 6, 7, and 8 standards, as well as ASHRAE and ISHRAE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop engineering designs for mechanical systems including site layouts, piping layouts, equipment layouts, ducting systems, Airflow Diagram and P&ID's. Design chillers, cooling towers, and select appropriate pumps for HVAC applications. Perform design calculations and develop technical specifications aligned with ISO Class 6, 7, and 8 cleanroom standards. Utilize psychrometric charts for HVAC system analysis and design optimization. Create and maintain data sheets and efficiently manage space for clean and general HVAC systems. Ensure HVAC, ducting, and related equipment designs comply with ASHRAE and ISHRAE standards and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and optimized design solutions that meet project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in Solar Cell or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industries. Expertise in HVAC system design including ducting, AFDs, P&ID's, chiller and cooling tower design, pump selection, and piping layouts. Strong knowledge of ISO Class 6, 7, and 8 cleanroom standards. Familiarity with ASHRAE and ISHRAE codes and standards. Proficient in preparing P&IDs, layouts, design calculations, and technical documentation. * Excellent space management and attention to detail.
