Job Summary

We are seeking a talented

Mechanical Design Engineer

to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation or similar industries, with 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design. This role involves developing and optimizing mechanical systems and components for our state-of-the-art aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for the aircraft, focusing on performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using industry-standard software. Perform mechanical analyses to ensure design integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, electrical, and propulsion engineers, to integrate systems seamlessly. Conduct design reviews and implement modifications based on testing results and stakeholder feedback. Ensure compliance with aviation standards, regulations, and certification requirements. Support prototyping, testing, and production efforts by resolving design-related challenges. Maintain documentation, including design specifications, BOMs, and revision histories, in an organized and accessible manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design in the aviation, automotive, or related industries. Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX(Preferred) or similar. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including composites and lightweight structures. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and mechanical drafting standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with design and analysis tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar. Experience with thermal and fluid systems in aerospace applications. Knowledge of aviation certification processes (e.g., FAA, EASA). Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
