Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Perform major overhauls of engines, gearboxes, clutches, brakes, and suspension
Supervise and guide junior mechanics and helpers
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules are followed
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards
Maintain service records, job cards, and spare-parts usage
Coordinate with supervisors/service advisors regarding job status
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment
Follow safety, quality, and company SOPs at all times
