Deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics for Cambridge levels (for example: Cambridge IGCSE / Cambridge International AS & A Level) as applicable.
Plan, design and execute lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus and assessment objectives, including advanced topics (algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete maths as needed).
Use formative and summative assessment strategies appropriate to Cambridge programmes; prepare students for external examinations (IGCSE/A-Level).
Differentiate instruction to support a mix of learner-profiles (academic, advanced, slower learners) and foster higher-order thinking, problem-solving and independent study.
Act as a mentor / coach for younger mathematics teachers; lead the mathematics department or team; coordinate resources, extra-classes/enrichment for competitive math activities (Olympiads, math clubs).
Liaise with parents and guardians on student progress, remedial support, extension work.
Participate in departmental planning, professional development (especially Cambridge-specific training), curriculum review and school improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of student attainment, provide feedback, support transition to higher studies/university where relevant.
Stay updated with best practices in international curriculum pedagogy (Cambridge), integrate educational technology and maintain a student-centric environment.
