6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

We are looking for an analytical, innovative and customer-obsessed marketing leader to join the Category Marketing team at Amazon India. Our vision is to deliver leading class shopping experiences for customers that are tailored to their shopping mission. You will be responsible for developing robust customer and category insights, and using these to develop experiments and build innovative solutions to delight customers. You will grow customer acquisition, engagement (frequency of shopping, basket building, spend per customer) and retention through exceptional marketing execution. You will measure impact of marketing initiatives and continuously improve and optimize performance.
You will be customer-obsessed, demonstrate strong ownership and insist on high standards. You will have an analytical mind and be comfortable diving deep in data and developing actionable insights. You will collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders across Central Marketing, Product/Programs, Category Management, Public Relations and Finance to inform and refine the customer engagement strategy and execution.
Key job responsibilities
Develop strategies for traffic channels that support overarching Marketing and Business goals
Own forecasting, goal-setting, and reporting leading insights for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews
Drive improvements to reporting and analytics
Embrace a data-driven test-and-learn approach to targeting, and messaging
Drive insights and learnings cross-functionally on campaign performance, including best practices and recommendations
Advocate for tech initiatives to optimize channel growth and performance, partnering with Product Management and Tech teams to analyze opportunity size and get buy-in for ideas
Lifecycle Campaign Development and Optimization
Develop and optimize customer lifecycle campaigns across all stages of the journey (acquisition, retention, lapsed, etc.) informed by customer insights, partnering closely with the central partner teams that work on rewards and outreach
Partner with category marketing teams to scale lifecycle campaigns across channels
Develop campaigns encouraging high value customer behavior, working closely with the Loyalty team on customer touchpoints
Drive efficiencies in campaign build and automation, allowing for scale and personalization
Oversee content marketing across Tier-1 and Tier-2 events
Manage and support the growth and development of direct reports
Stay abreast of industry trends in marketing automation
