The SAP Consultant (S4Hana) will specialize in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP modules (FICO, MM) to meet the business needs of the organization. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure the smooth execution of SAP-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Stay updated on SAP advancements and recommend improvements.
Prepare system Documentation as per Global template and lead SAP related project activities and Change management.
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for SAP support services.
Handle SAP tickets issue resolution and ensure closure as per business SLA
Plan, execute and manage SAP implementation projects from start to finish.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies
SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling):
Configure and maintain SAP FI modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting), Cash and Bank accounting, Direct and Indirect Tax accounting
Manage CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
Ensure integration with other SAP modules (MM, PM, PS-WBS etc.).
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Provide insights into financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Work Experience in User Authorization, Roles creation/Changes as per New Project/Business needs
Proficient knowledge of Report Painter. Good knowledge and hands on SAP FICO module standard reports
SAP MM (Materials Management):
Configure and customize MM modules, including procure to pay complete cycle, inventory management, and invoice verification, MRP, Physical inventory Verification
Streamline the supply chain processes and optimize material flow.
Ensure accurate vendor management and purchase order processing.
PR/ PO Release strategy as per Business Financial approval limits (FAL)
Strong understanding of integration with financial accounting and production planning and PM
Manage material master data and support inventory audits.
Ensure integration with other SAP modules (FICO, PM, PS-WBS etc.)
Work Experience in User Authorization, Roles creation/Changes as per New Project/Business needs
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, specializing in FICO & MM modules.
Experience in handling SAP project management activities
Proven track record of successful SAP project implementations and rollouts
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of SAP FICO & MM module and related integration set up
Payroll FI Integration with oversee payroll technical support via partners
Knowledge of integration points across S/4HANA modules.
Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and ABAP debugging (optional).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
