Role Purpose:


Delivery of data center network operations and implementations for Global Data Centers to support reliable and secure hosted and collaborative services across the whole Vodafone Network in Europe with focus on the services hosted in the managed datacenters. He/she would be accountable for heterogeneous DC network support including any issue, any planned action for maintaining infrastructure up-time, break and fix action, as well to minimize the impact of the network changes, reduction in human errors by driving change process effectively. The function of this role is ensuring the business impacts of critical and complex outages in area of or Global Data Centres are minimized by identifying root cause and resolving issues in time, round the clock.


Also to plan and lead Network lifecycle activities including migrations, specifically performing firewalls, LB, Routing migrations etc. The successful candidate will also have exposure to handle the Cloud Network infrastructure including various CSP - AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI etc.


Manage relationships with the stakeholders, in particular operations, design, infrastructure, and other customer teams for the implementation of the planned activities.

Maintain operational KPI/SLA, proactively own the incidents including Critical or escalated by either customers or support teams and provide required resolution within agreed timelines. Lead/execute LCME activities including migrations, derive assessment, task planning and Align with the stakeholder and management. Deploy the network fit for purpose including to understand how our services/applications layer will work across the network (capacity, capability, utilization) BE or equivalent degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology or Electrical engineering Good knowledge of the Data Centre network infrastructure Good knowledge of Network equipment operation (Cisco router and switches, F5 Load Balancers and Juniper Firewalls, SD-
WAN, ACI) and of TCP/IP, Routing and switching Protocols
