Sr.Manager/Manager-Department of Corporate Relations for the
Pharma Vertical
will be responsible for strategically planning and executing all training and placement activities specifically tailored for students pursuing programs related to Pharmaceutical Sciences (e.g., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D,etc.). This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strong networking skills, and a proven ability to connect students with relevant career opportunities in pharma, biotech, healthcare, and allied sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Industry Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading pharmaceutical companies, CROs (Contract Research Organizations), CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), biotech firms, hospitals, and research institutions.
Identify emerging trends, skill requirements, and hiring patterns within the pharmaceutical industry to align institutional training programs.
Identify and secure internship and full-time placement opportunities for students in various domains of the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Control/Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance). Collaborate with faculty to integrate industry-relevant content into the curriculum. Build and nurture a strong network of pharma alumni to leverage their experience and connections for current student placements and mentorship.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Pharm, M.Pharm) or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a training and placement role, with a significant focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of successful placements in the pharma sector.
Prior industry experience in a pharmaceutical company (e.g., HR, business development, talent acquisition) would be highly preferred.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, its various sub-sectors, and hiring trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and placement management software.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, result-oriented, and a team player.
