Job Title: Senior Manager - Machine Learning& Data Science Company Description Rebel Foods, formerly known as Faasos, is the world\'s largest chain of Online Restaurants. Today we operate 25+ own brands such as Behrouz Biryani, Ovenstory Pizza, Faasos, Mandarin Oak, Sweet Truth on our proprietary operating system, a mix of culinary craft and technology infrastructure. We are now a network of 4000+ Restaurants across 450+ Kitchens spread through 60+ cities across 10 countries and serving 2M+ customers. We are looking for someone to lead a team of talented Data Scientists in solving the toughest problems in food tech today. The role would require someone who has led similar teams and themselves created and deployed high-quality data, ML and AI solutions at scale. This role will involve hands-on work and daily working sessions with the data scientists to create, improve and debug ML models across multiple business domains. The person should be able to visualize the high-level picture and give direction, while also not being afraid to get their hands dirty and remove roadblocks for team members. What our team owns At Rebel, the Data Science& Analytics team builds and maintains all ML models, rule-based intelligence, automated reports and dashboards used by the organization. This spans across areas of inventory forecasting, order predictions, marketing spends optimization, prediction of delivery time, personalization, primary planning, capacity optimization, etc. We are on a mission to drive business impact via ML and Data Science and grow adoption of these areas at Rebel. We also want to enable the organization to better understand and effectively use ML and DS. We interact with teams across every business area such as Supply, Operations, Demand Generation, D2C, Finance, Brands, Customer Delight, Central Planning and many more. We are never short of interesting challenges and we balance delivering continuous impact and great CX, while building strong foundations to drive sustainable ML returns over time. We\'re looking for someone who can Provide strategic direction and overseer the execution of machine learning initiatives to address specific business needs. Lead and manage a team of Machine Learning engineers in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models. Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and strategize innovative solutions Ensure the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and reusable code, with proper version control. Operate in a hands-on capacity when necessary Specific Qualifications Demonstrated track record in designing, building and deploying ML models with a focus on accuracy and scalability. Strong hands-on experience in ML algorithms libraries like Pytorch, Tensorflow/Keras, Scikit-Learn. Solid of understanding of AI/ML techniques related to Regression, Classification, Gradient Boosting, NLP, Computer Vision Good knowledge of using Optimization with OR Tools Strong hands-on skills in Data Analytics, Feature Engineering& EDA/Visualization using libraries like Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly etc. Understanding of Dockerization, REST APIs Good-to-have Strong stakeholder management skills Experience in building Time-Series Forecasting Models and Market Mix Models Interest in improving ML fluency in the larger organization and setting best practices If you find this intriguing, we should meet.
