Job Description

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 6+ years of experience in financial controllership.

The ideal candidate is an experienced CA with strong expertise in controllership, retail operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, statutory compliance, and operational finance efficiency.

A. Financial Reporting & Closing

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, purchases, payables, receivables, inventory, and logistics costs. Review GL, trial balance, reconciliations, provisions, and variance analysis. Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, management reports, and Board MIS.

B. Internal Controls & ICFR

Implement, monitor, and strengthen Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).

C. Inventory, Supply Chain & Cost Control

Drive cost-optimization initiatives across finance and operations. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, TDS, and all statutory requirements. Manage statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and IFC audit. Review GST returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2B/1/3B), and resolve notices.

D. Technology & Automation

Collaborate with product/tech teams to automate finance processes. Build dashboards for real-time financial and operational visibility.
