Job Description


Purpose of the Role
a)To handle new product development business, co-branding of businesses, royalty business all falling under New Product development, Spares & NVB.
Since business is having only one position to handle the operations, in absence of this position the new business development operations will be adversely affected & will lead to business loss.
Job Responsibility
1. New product development

  • Requirement & identification of new product
  • Coordination & gathering customer requirements / voice from End customers / KACs/ Dealers / TASSs
  • Working out the Business case & potential of the new business
  • Develop project timelines & publish regular MIS
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for field team / Channel partners for New Business requirements
  • Pipeline of new product development
  • Introduction timelines & its adherence
  • Managing any expenses within the budget
2. Legal evaluation & legal clearance
  • Coordination with the Corp Legal team to get the business proposal cleared
  • Coordinate with legal for developing of the legal agreement template
Ensuring the agreement is signed with the selected vendor/s
3Identify suppliers / vendors for the new business products
  • Gathering market intelligence related to prospective vendors
  • First level screening of vendors / their products
  • Evaluation of vendor product / testing
Evaluation of the vendors & product pricing by the P&SQ team.
  • Get the completion of the vendors evaluation / selection by the P&SQ team.
  • Get the new product pricing completion by the P&SQ team
  • Ensure PO is raised on the vendor/s.
Marketing communication & launch of business.
  • Coordination with the SPD Marcom team / Marketing team for marketing collaterals.
  • Launch of business / SOB
  • Preparation & release of Service Circular
Branding clearance
  • Coordination with marketing team for any branding related clearance.
  • Preparation of BPMS (Business Process Management System) document
  • Ensure on-boarding of different stake holders (IT, Finance, Marketing Communication, Legal, GDC & vendor)
  • Route to Market plan
  • Development of MIS/ business monitoring levers
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Education : MBA
  • Relevant Experience : 3 10 Years
  • Any Industry , preferably Automobile industry/ Oil industry /Spares/Accessories
  • Vendor handling experience
  • basic knowledge of legal drafts / agreements
  • Marketing & branding experience
  • Experience in product launch ,
