Purpose of the Role
This role will ensure brand consistency and support the execution of zonal marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives. The zonal marketing manager will be responsible for enhancing dealership engagement, promoting TATA Motors' products and executing tailored marketing initiatives to boost zonal sales performance by fully leveraging the lower funnel. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving zonal marketing activities cascading into regional and dealership level.
Job Responsibility
1. Planning Of Marketing Campaigns For The Zone:
Work with Regional Managers (RMs) and Zonal Managers (ZMs) to finalize focus models for each region and ensure alignment on marketing goals.
2. Development & Execution Of Regional Marketing Plan:
Develop and execute a comprehensive zonal marketing plan that meets the needs of local dealerships while adhering to the TATA Motors or TATA.ev corporate brand standards.
3. Creative Support & Customization:
Provide model-specific creative support to the regional teams by coordinating with the SHQ marketing team. Customize creatives based on zonal and regional requirements, including local offers and schemes.
4. Communication With SHQ Marketing:
Ensure effective sharing of the zonal marketing plan, field marketing activities and any creative requirements with SHQ marketing to maintain consistency and brand alignment.
5. Dealer Support & Guidelines Dissemination:
Disseminate marketing creatives, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and brand guidelines to dealerships to maintain uniformity and quality across all marketing efforts.
6. Media Planning & Activation:
Manage media buying, planning and execution of Below-the-Line (BTL) activations, ensuring effective local market engagement through agencies.
7. Collaboration With Zonal & Regional Auto Influencers:
Work closely with zonal and regional auto influencers to develop local content, leveraging influencers to drive brand awareness and engagement.
8. Zonal Marketing For New Product Launches:
Plan and execute new product launches across the zone, ensuring successful launches with proper marketing and promotional activities tailored for each region.
9. Digital Presence Monitoring:
Track and monitor the social media pages and websites of dealerships to ensure brand consistency and optimal engagement with customers.
10. Campaign Monitoring & Reporting:
Oversee and monitor the performance of zonal marketing campaigns, track budget utilization and ensure ROI. Report on field marketing performance and campaign outcomes.
11. Performance Metrics & Budget Management:
Regularly report on the effectiveness of zonal marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to budget allocations and providing insights into future campaign improvements.
Stakeholder Profiles & Nature of Interactions
Internal:
Zonal & Regional Manager: Work closely with zonal and regional manager for finalization of focus models, regional offers, schemes and development of zonal/regional marketing plan
SHQ Dealer Marketing Team: Coordinate with SHQ dealer marketing team for zonal budget allocation, creative support and reporting of monthly zonal marketing performance
Regional Sales Teams: Coordination with the regional sales team for execution of regional marketing and dealer-led marketing campaigns.
External:
Dealer Marketing Manager: Ensure timely and regular updation of social media pages and website of dealerships, execution of dealer-led BTL activations, local content creation and user generated content by liaising with dealer marketing managers.
Zonal & Regional Agencies: Work with zonal and regional marketing agencies for execution of TATA Motors zonal office driven marketing campaigns.
