Job Description

Project Governance


Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource management. Define project governance structure, roles, and responsibilities across cross-functional teams. Ensure effective steering committee meetings, progress reviews, and decision-making forums. Track project KPIs and generate structured reports for senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Communication Management


Act as the main liaison with internal stakeholders and external vendors/consultants. Provide clear communication and updates to project sponsors and leadership. Manage stakeholder expectations, conflict resolution, and project escalations.
Planning & Execution Excellence


Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and ensure disciplined project tracking. Monitor milestones, identify variances and implement corrective actions. Implement project management best practices, tools, templates, and methodologies (PMBOK/Agile/PRINCE2). Drive risk and change management, including analysis, impact assessment, and approvals.
Financial & Resource Management


Support development and monitoring of project budgets (CAPEX & OPEX). Track project costs, forecasts, and deviations, ensuring financial discipline. Optimize resource allocation and workload balancing across project phases.
Compliance & Standards


Ensure project execution is aligned with company SOPs, EHS requirements, and regulatory standards. Facilitate audits and compliance reviews relevant to project execution.
Project Closure & Continuous Improvement


Manage formal project closure, lessons learned, and documentation handover. Develop playbooks/templates for future CAPEX projects using best practices. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in project management practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:


Strong leadership and organizational skills, with ability to influence without authority. Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale CAPEX projects simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering / project management / business or equivalent. 8-12 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in CAPEX project management. PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences sector highly desirable.
Performance Indicators (KPIs):


% of projects delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment. Effectiveness of risk mitigation and change management. Quality of governance, reporting, and compliance to standards. Continuous improvement initiatives implemented.
