The opportunity
Education is a focus sector for EY. We provide strong capabilities as advisors in this sector through a dedicated team of sector professionals. EY's education practice has successfully completed numerous assignments over the last several years, covering many aspects of the education sector in India. The firm's clients include government bodies, reputed Indian and international educational institutions, industry bodies, private equity funds as well as corporate houses interested in the education space.
Your key responsibilities

• Lead redefining/refining of vision & strategic business plan for technology advisory services and technology solutions for Education vertical
• Lead members of the team in the origination and the execution/implementation process
• Manage the origination process through the preparation of pitch documents, presentations, and engagement proposals etc.
• Work with varied partners in the Education sector, Like Autonomous bodies, State Education Departments & related entities, Central Government entities like MHRD, CBSE, NCERT etc. , providing deep dive oversight on end to end delivery of advisory services to clients
• Develop acquisition rationale, market and company projections, industry benchmarking, review of business plan, sensitivity analysis, financial impact of operations consolidation
• Leading and Mentoring a team to achieve business acquisition & service/solution delivery and play a key role in their learning and development

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Post-Graduation (MBA) from a reputed university, with years of relevant professional experience of Technology projects within the Education domain
• Minimum 12 - 18 years of experience, out of which at least two years should be in the education vertical

Ideally you'll also have

• Willingness to travel
• Flexible to adopt to a demanding lifestyle
• Maturity and ability to handle pressure
