The HR Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment process for all positions across the company. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies, the online education industry, and has expertise in bulk hiring of admission counselors & other IT, Academics & Digital Marketing Job positions. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand the staffing needs and help drive the recruitment process to attract, select, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy
:
Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles, focusing on building a high-quality candidate pipeline for both technical and non-technical positions.
Stay updated on the latest trends in online education, HR technologies, and recruitment tools, and integrate these insights into hiring processes.
Talent Acquisition
:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all open positions ( of which admission counsellors' positions are at large) , from job requisition to offer acceptance.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements, create accurate and compelling job descriptions, and establish a timeline for recruitment.
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and university partnerships.
Manage a small team of recruiters.
Interview and Selection
:
Lead the interview process, including initial screening, coordinating interviews, and managing interview schedules.
Utilize behavioral and competency-based interview techniques to assess candidates' fit with company culture and role requirements.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
:
Promote Collegevidya as an employer of choice in the industry, enhancing the company's reputation and visibility within the talent market.
Develop and maintain an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure high-quality engagement and positive feedback.
Data-Driven Decisions & Reporting
:
Analyze recruitment data and key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
Provide regular reports and insights to HR leadership on recruitment progress, time-to-hire, and cost-per-hire.
Onboarding & Retention Support
:
Work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, and maintain consistent communication with candidates through the offer and joining stages.
Assist in developing retention strategies and suggest improvements to the recruitment process to ensure better employee engagement and long-term retention.
Compliance and Best Practices
:
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and follow best practices for equal opportunity hiring.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR policies related to recruitment.
Qualifications:
Education
:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree or HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
Experience
:
Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in Edtech (other than K-12 companies).
Experience recruiting in the online education, technology, or SaaS industries is highly preferred.
Proven track record of successfully filling a wide range of roles, from entry-level to senior management positions.
Skills
:
Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, and interviewing techniques.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Lever).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
