Supplier Partnership role for PV EV with broad scope of work with extensive CFT participation & team work. Position Summary:-
Drive Commodity strategy, advance tech & supplier evaluation & induction, localization, drive holistic cost optimization efforts, own up responsible for overall P&SQ deliverables
Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the 'must haves' for this role
Essential - BE
Desirable - BE + MBA
Relevant Work Experience - minimum 5+ years,
Technical Skills - Sound understanding of VAVE, Should costing, Engineering development, Project management, Purchasing, ECN process, New program Business case, Budgeting
Other Skills - Strategic Thinking, Communication, Presentation, Conflict Management, Business Acumen

Education

Work Experience


1. Advanced tech & supplier evaluation and ability to understand need of the program, evaluate various technology option techno-commercially and work with various stake holders to drive objective decision making
2. Able to take broader view and owning the P&SQ deliverables of overall program, work with key stakeholder and representing P&SQ in various forums by becoming brand ambassador for P&SQ
3. Able to understand the Strategic aspect of P&SQ and able to strike balance between short term and long term requirements and strategize techno-commercial requirements by working with multiple stakeholders.
4. Drive localization and achieve targeted localization of value addition
5. Work with Government & corporate affairs team on various policy matter requiring P&SQ participation
6. Lead Supplier Business Reviews and able to work with internal & external stakeholders to drive objective discussion & decision making
7. RFI/RFQ Management / Supplier Nomination
8. Cost Management/ Cost Estimation / Price negotiation & Settlement within Target Cost/ Cost Reduction
9. Knowledge of zero based costing
10. New Product Development: Gen3 process knowledge, Proto Development, Part Testing, Production Development, PPAP - Tooling, Fixture and Gauges development to meet SOP
11. Capacity management Planning & Signoff / Supplies Ramp up Management
12. Monthly Supplies management till Handover to SCM team
13. Derisking Supply chain- Alternate Sourcing / De Bottlenecking
14. Supplier Quality Enhancement , Supplier Evaluation , Supplier Quality improvement management
15. Finalizing Packaging & Logistics Proposals between Supplier & Plant
16. Domestic & IB Warranty & Service strategy and exection for EV aggregates
