The ideal candidate will lead business development initiatives, manage key client relationships, and drive revenue growth across targeted vertical markets. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to position Worldline's comprehensive payment solutions to meet enterprise client needs.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of B2B sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target enterprise accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration objectives
  • Collaborate with product teams to position Worldline's solutions effectively in competitive situations
  • Analyze market trends and client needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Create compelling business proposals and lead complex negotiations
  • Work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams to ensure successful solution implementation
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Represent Worldline at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, preferably in payments, financial services, or technology sectors
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing accounts
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant acquiring, or related financial technologies
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to meet client business challenges
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales methodologies
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of vertical markets such as Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Digital Commerce, or B2B marketplaces
  • Experience with solution selling and consultative sales approaches
  • MBA or related advanced degree is a plus
  • International business experience and additional languages
  • Experience with banking partnerships or financial institution sales
