Job Description

Seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead sales activities in the Bangalore region. The role requires strong technical understanding of elevator systems, proven sales capability, and the ability to build strategic relationships within the local market. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with deep market knowledge to drive sustainable growth and achieve annual sales targets.


Key Responsibilities




1. Sales & Business Growth




Own and drive all regional sales activities for the Bangalore market. Achieve annual unit volume and revenue targets through aggressive participation in niche market segments. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence and secure new business.

2. Technical & Commercial Expertise




Possess strong technical knowledge of elevator systems and solutions. Review technical specifications, manage estimations, and handle tendering processes. Coordinate with the manufacturer on technical clarifications, product details, and shipment schedules.

3. Client & Market Engagement




Maintain a strong understanding of the Bangalore elevator market, customer expectations, and competitive landscape. Build and nurture relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, builders, PMC teams, and influencers. Manage key accounts effectively to ensure repeat and long-term business partnerships.

4. Negotiation & Closing




Lead commercial discussions with clients and ensure competitive and profitable deal closures. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.

5. Coordination & Communication




Liaise with internal teams (technical, project, service, and manufacturing) for smooth order execution. Ensure all technical matters and project requirements are addressed in a timely manner.


Required Skills & Qualifications




15 years above of experience in elevator / escalators industry sales (mandatory). Strong technical understanding of elevator systems. Proven experience in handling Bangalore / Karnataka market. Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Prior experience in tenders, estimation, and key account management.
