Job Description

Spirent Communications is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - Sales to lead our business operations and sales efforts in India. As the Country Sales Lead, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets across the region. This is a key leadership role that will manage direct reports, build strong customer relationships, and represent Spirent's value proposition to stakeholders across the Indian telecommunications, technology, and enterprise landscape.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum of

12 years of sales experience

in the telecommunications, networking, or technology sectors, with at least

5 years in a leadership/people management

role. Customer Engagement: Customer facing in the telco or enterprise sector with market rich experience including having a well-regarded reputation in the India market and strong connections/relationships with large enterprise customers at a senior decision maker level. General experience: Minimum 10-15 years of relevant, Director, KAM, Regional or Country (India) Leadership, coupled with large scale Sales Management & Channel experience, preferably in Technology. Test, Measurement and Assurance or SW sales industry. High Growth at Scale: Track record of leading a regional or global function in a global technology organization with demonstrable sales growth/ attainment. Proven success in managing enterprise and/or government accounts in India. Experience with complex Go-to-Market models: Developed and implemented successful GTM strategies and processes for scaling. Built and led complex, platform/multi-product sales motion across field/direct, channel and inside sales addressing a multi-segment (SMB to large Enterprise) customer base. Market knowledge: Deep experience and relationships with telco able to establish, build and grow strong relationships in our key markets. Collaborative, Strategic Builder: Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skills - with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Spirent Partner Friendly: Ability to define, develop and lead go-to-market relationships, leveraging partners in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Experience working closely with channel partners where NATCOs, OPCOs and OEMs. Effective Communicator: Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; a highly effective influencer. Solid experience within the Network Services marketplace Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs. Self-motivated, working independently and willing to accept challenges. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing sales teams and develop talent. Strong understanding of test, assurance, and automation solutions for networks (including 5G, cloud, cybersecurity, or positioning technologies). Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Charismatic communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
