We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Retail Growth Strategy!
Responsibilities
Identify and characterize target market segments for growth, market entry hypotheses, and execution plans, supporting validation through test-and-learn projects
Determining the most attractive business models and capability requirements to win in those target markets
Analyzing major operational improvement opportunities, and identifying and supporting the implementation of interventions to capture those opportunities
Supporting the analysis for and preparation of Board and Corporate Leadership Team materials to drive clarity and alignment around the strategic direction for the company
Evaluating strategic and competitive business models and their markets within Retail
Assisting in defining and understanding the strategic landscape
Executing strategic competitor analyses and response strategies
Creating and analyzing quantitative and qualitative market research
Structuring and running interviews with both senior customer executives and Genpact executives to understand and synthesize customer needs and opportunities
Working with senior leadership to articulate the business case for strategic investments and improvement opportunities in Retail
Breaking down complex tasks and distributing the workload across multiple teams
Drive problem structuring and manage project activities and results with analysts and/or senior analysts on the Corporate Strategy & Global Development team
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
MBA graduate
Exposure to Retail / Software-based businesses would be considered an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional client-facing communication, influence, and interpersonal skills
Superior oral and written communication skills, including the visual depiction of insights and ideas
Ability to create/operate in a culture of accountability
Ability to deliver results, overachieve targets
Good work ethic and practical orientation
Superior project and process management skills
Highly original/creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
