Job overview and responsibilities
Lead the Reliability team, responsible for fleet and system trend analysis and performance, root cause analysis, chronic aircraft identification, and reliability data standards and coding. Facilitates cross-department collaboration between Reliability and other Tech Ops departments to enable fleet reliability. Responsible for professional development of a team consisting of multiple direct reports and an overall team of approximately 25 aviation professionals. Responsible for ensuring alignment of resources and deliverables in support of strategic reliability initiatives.

• Lead a team of reliability engineers and analysts, developing quality processes and ensuring alignment of resources and deliverables
• Interface with internal partners ensuring effectiveness and benefits of the reliability program is realized
• Focus on professional growth and development of team members
• Responsible for preparing and presenting performance trends, root cause analysis and corrective actions to all levels of management and regulatory agencies (FAA, DOD, etc.)

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree
• Aviation related field or equivalent work experience in aviation industry
• Minimum of 8 + years of aircraft/reliability engineering or equivalent work experience with 3 + years of management experience
• Knowledge of reliability or maintenance program analysis
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Ability to travel 10-15% on average
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• Master's degree
• 5+ Year leading an airline reliability program
• Knowledge of reliability program and regulations, industry innovation and strong understanding of the interfaces between multiple workstreams at an airline
• Proven organization and leadership skills in a cross functional team with ability to build, lead and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
