Job Description

The Senior Manager, Regulatory Platform Innovation will lead regulatory technology and innovation programs, driving digital transformation to enhance regulatory operations. This position requires a digital mindset, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play an integral role in leveraging emerging technologies to optimize regulatory processes, aligning with GSK's mission and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of regulatory innovation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a 'Product Owner' or 'Programme Workstream Lead' as needed, making tactical and departmental strategic decisions to maximize value.
Project Management:
  • Oversee project timelines, scope, budget, and risk while ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Develop detailed plans with clear deliverables, tracking progress and facilitating prioritization based on business value.
  • Establish KPIs to evaluate project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Co-manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including charters, schedules, RAID logs, status updates, and executive summaries.
  • Communicate project outcomes and updates to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
Collaboration:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Tech, R&D, Quality Assurance, and external vendors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, ensuring delivery of quality work within budget and timeline.
Compliance Assurance:
  • Ensure all initiatives adhere to GSK regulations, policies, and standards, staying informed of regulatory changes.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for innovation and improvement, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and driving forward actionable solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory operations, technology innovation, or project management.
  • Digital mindset with expertise in leveraging technology for efficiency and innovation.
  • Strong knowledge of systems delivery projects across systems, data, process, and people.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, Scaled Agile).
  • Familiarity with regulatory systems and GxP validation requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively in a matrix environment.
Preferred:
  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2) or Agile methodologies (e.g., PO/PM).
  • Familiarity with JIRA and effective decomposition of requirements (Epic
