The position
As the Senior Manager of the RareD GBS Commercial Team, you will:
Lead the RareD GBS commercial team, ensuring alignment of sub-functional strategies with organisational objectives and the vision for Rare Disease therapy. Drive team engagement, talent development, and capability building while fostering collaboration with RareD FinCE/Market Access and GBS.

• Oversee Access & Pricing functions, supporting, HEOR & payer evidence generation, and access and pricing evaluation for early pipeline asset strategies. Drive access & pricing activities as part of mature product's lifecycle management.
• Guide the Commercial Excellence team in enabling business performance through forecasting, commercial execution, supporting frontline, and translation of data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with functional strategies and operational excellence across all sub-functions.
• Actively participate in RareD department leadership team meetings, contributing to planning and execution of strategic priorities.
• Cultivate a cohesive and inclusive community for RareD colleagues in GBS, driving engagement and integration.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Commercial, Business Management or a related field.
• 8+ years experience in pharmaceutical domain (preferably in commercial access and pricing domains and preferably with prior people management experience).
• Proven people leadership experience with an empathetic, coaching, and partnership-oriented style.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences and cultures.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities in ambiguous environments.
• A solution-focused mindset with a practical approach to execution.
• Ability to influence without direct positional power and navigate organizational complexities.
• Experience in driving functional and operational excellence within a global organization.
• Passion for innovation and engaging effectively at all levels of the organisation.

Comfort with challenging the status quo and implementing change management initiatives.
About the department
The RareD Commercial team is part of RareD department in P&PS GBS, a dynamic and collaborative environment dedicated to supporting the Rare Disease therapy area. You will be part of the Commercial Excellence, Access & Pricing team for RareD. Based in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this team is dedicated to driving impactful commercial deliverables for Novo Nordisk's global RareD portfolio. With a focus on quality, innovation, and teamwork, the team works closely across Global and focus markets worldwide to deliver exceptional results. The role is in Bangalore, where you'll join a vibrant community of professionals committed to making a difference in patients' lives.
