RIJ Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Sr. Quality Manager to lead and strengthen quality assurance systems in a precision gear manufacturing environment. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, strong customer interface skills, and the authority to drive world-class quality standards aligned with IATF 16949.
# Key Responsibilities
Lead quality assurance activities across incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
Ensure effective process monitoring and product verification as per control plans.
Lead and develop QC Engineers, Inspectors, and Production In-charges.
Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and drive CAPA closure.
Implement and monitor SPC for critical characteristics and improve process capability.
Ensure full compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and customer-specific requirements.
Review and approve process plans, control plans, and inspection standards.
Lead APQP, PPAP, SOP readiness, and support new product launches.
Manage calibration systems and metrology compliance.
Present quality performance reports to top management.
Drive continuous improvement in PPM reduction, FTR improvement, and audit scores.

Stop production in case of non-conformances.
Accept or reject products as per quality standards.
Release products for dispatch after quality certification.
Enforce quality procedures across departments.
# Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.
15-20 years of quality management experience in gear or automotive component manufacturing.
Strong hands-on knowledge of gear inspection, metrology, heat treatment, and machining processes.
