Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure adherence to company and regulatory quality standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO/other industry standards.
Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics (KPIs) to drive product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product quality assurance.
Plan and conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and customer audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and customer requirements.
Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Supply Chain, Maintenance) to resolve quality-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines in relation to quality operations.
Train and mentor team members to build strong quality awareness across the organization.
Support new product development by ensuring quality is built into processes from the design stage.
Manage interactions with customers and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean practices) for cost reduction and process efficiency.
