Purpose of the position
This role is responsible for management of for Sourcing and Pricing of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) sub components including Hardware, Software and Infrastructure.
Dimensions of the position1. Commercial negotiations with Embedded Hardware and Software Suppliers.

Education Engineering Graduate with (Electronics Embedded System / Computer Science )
Skills1. Familiarity with Embedded System Hardware
2. Familiarity with various components of Embedded System Software components such as Operating System, RTOS, BIOS, Firmware Application layer , middleware,Autosar,Hypervisor, SOC, Cyber Security, Functional Safety, OTA,
3. Good communication skills
4. Understanding of Software Development and Life Cycle management.
Relevant Experience:1. Prior experience in dealing with Semiconductor and Software service providers.
2. Experience of Purchase Process
3. Experience of Supplier Negotiation
4. Knowledge of contract and Licensing agreement terms with MNC suppliers
5. Experience of Should Costing/Zero Based Costing
6. Understanding & experience of Cost reduction levers
Job Responsibility
1
. Procurement Strategy and Deployment
Manage Sourcing and pricing for software defined vehicle components(Embedded Hardware and software )
Annual requirement gathering from businesses in alignment with business initiatives
Prioritization of requirement execution based on requirement validation, business value identification, strategy alignment checkInteract with the technical teams, project managers & finance to understand & execute requirements.
Review and evaluate specifications (technical and commercial) for awarding contracts to suppliers;
Negotiations, price settlement, secure warranties, terms and conditions to deliver tangible outcomes
Prepare approval notes for management
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, support delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.
Resolve supply, quality service and invoicing issues with vendors.
Managing any SLA's (Service Level Agreements) that may be in place and managing Master Agreements between the vendors & TML.
Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies, align to audit guidelines
Create effective partnerships with SDV / Digital vendors, service providers, aggregators, marketplaces & affiliates.

Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance
