Lead - Public Relations & Corporate Communications
Location: Corporate Office, Gurgaon
Role Purpose
The Lead - Public Relations & Corporate Communications will be responsible for shaping and executing the organization's overall PR and corporate communication strategy to enhance brand visibility, protect reputation, and strengthen stakeholder trust. This role will drive leadership communication, media engagement, crisis management, and integrated communication initiatives in close collaboration with marketing and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
PR & Corporate Communication Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and corporate communications strategy aligned with the company's brand values, tone, and business objectives.
Ensure consistency in messaging across all internal and external communication channels.
Build and protect the organization's reputation through proactive media engagement and strategic storytelling.
Media Relations & Reputation Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and PR partners.
Drive positive and consistent media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
Handle media queries and manage communication during sensitive or crisis situations.
Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and public events.
Leadership & Thought Leadership Communication
Support leadership visibility through interviews, opinion pieces, panel discussions, keynote sessions, and thought leadership content.
Prepare briefing notes, talking points, speeches, presentations, board letters, and moderator briefs for leadership engagements.
Manage logistics and coordination for leadership participation at industry events.
Content Strategy & Execution
Lead content creation for media and corporate communication, including press releases, media articles, Q&As, pitch notes, speeches, emcee scripts, award entries, and media invites.
Oversee internal and external communication content such as newsletters, social media posts, reports, and email communications.
Translate key events and engagements into structured reports for internal dissemination.
Track and report media coverage weekly to marketing and monthly to leadership.
Digital & Owned Media
Drive content strategy and execution for company-owned digital platforms to improve reach, engagement, and brand perception.
Monitor brand sentiment and media performance to optimize communication strategies.
Awards, Industry Forums & Organizational Profiling
Identify relevant industry awards and platforms; coordinate data collection, draft submissions, and manage entries.
Manage organizational and promoter memberships with industry bodies such as YPO, NATO, CII, and FICCI.
Support profiling initiatives for leadership and the organization across industry platforms.
PR Agency & Vendor Management
Manage PR agencies to ensure unified brand storytelling and effective execution of communication plans.
Monitor performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements in PR strategies.
Coordinate vendor onboarding, PO management, invoicing, reconciliation, and payment tracking with finance teams.
Integrated Marketing & Promotional Support
Collaborate with marketing to develop integrated campaigns that connect with target audiences.
Support annual movie PR planning and execution, including film launches, partnerships, and promotions.
Create 360-degree promotional strategies across digital, traditional media, influencer collaborations, cinema activations, and special initiatives.
Plan and execute promotions around festivals, special days, food launches, and food-related campaigns in coordination with internal teams.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in PR, corporate communications, and media relations
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Proven experience in leadership communication and reputation management
Ability to manage agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
Strategic thinker with strong execution and reporting capabilities
Experience in entertainment, media, lifestyle, or consumer-facing brands preferred
