Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - POG development, Analytics (Retail)
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing visually appealing and efficient retail layouts using specialized planogram/zoning optimization guides and software.
Responsibilities
Accountable for team deliverables of creating, updating, and maintaining planograms based on seasonal/cyclical requirements focusing on effective and profitable utilization of shelf space based on customers demand and operational efficiency.
Lead complex business critical special projects (planogram) through business and functional knowledge. Analyze data to provide valuable data driven recommendations positively impacting space allocation.
Support execution of business-critical special projects with high level of attention to detail with 100% accuracy under tight timelines
Provide areas of operational improvement, digital solutions (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning) and technology implementations
Ability to link master data issues/challenges to business processes, problems, and analytics
Shown capability to collaborate, conduct, and lead sessions with Business and IT resources
Be able to handle project delivery / Ops Delivery - timeline and landmark management, partner relationship management
Develop a point of views, thought leadership content to establish Genpact as a leader in Space planning
Exposure to Reporting, Analytics, and data lake environments. Applies knowledge and skills to conduct sophisticated and systematic analyses of data to produce insights
Meaningful experience in Space planning consulting, Data Governance with knowledge across multiple data domains
Past experience of having independently led and executed the large scale, high-impacts Space planning consulting projects or solutions have delivered sophisticated space planning strategy assessments, implementation roadmaps
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the confirmed ability to connect with all levels including management and retail partners.
Understanding of the process and nuances of different entities, understanding of entity specific norms etc.
Should have abilities to perform quality audits on timely basis to validate and ensure the process in executed with error free and high-quality data standards.
Tools and Technology
Space Planning Software:
JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning, Relex Solutions, Nexgen, Dotactiv, Apollo Retail or any other industry specific space planning tools
Data Analytics and Visualization:
Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in B.Arch/BE Civil/Interior designing with relevant experience in Retail Operations
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Highly motivated and bring both the practical experience of implementing solutions in Space planning and the flair for developing transformations and new insights.
Should be strong in operations and people management and should have handled a team
Good understanding of transition methodology
Ability to identify process improvement areas
Influencing skills, Creative thinking/innovative mind-set
Good eye for business and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors
Demonstrate a solid grasp of the lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement
