The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

This role within the P2P Optimisation and Governance team provides Process, Transition and Risk governance; headcount and cost management and adherence to GFS wide admin and governance requirements. The role will drive greater transparency and control over hiring process, SLA and billing governance as well as continue to optimise processes that support the wider P2P Organisation.

Headcount and Cost Management

  • Drive a robust headcount forecast and cost management and provide critical decision making support to P2P Leadership.
  • Cost Performance management, ongoing traction against budget and ensuring the function delivers on cost targets.
  • Lead and drive an open and transparent hiring process for hiring managers. Continuously challenge and optimise the overall recruitment process.
  • Enable greater transparency on open roles and career opportunities for our team members.
  • Work closely with TA and Central team for end to end management of job requisition and related approvals. Act as the central gate keeper for all open roles within JR.
  • Own the P2P approved positions, including role upgrades, cancellations and related cost impact of management decisions.
  • Ensuring our SLA vs Billing vs Approved headcounts are managed effectively and in adherence to compliance requirements.
Risk and Governance
  • Robust transition governance and working with the wider transition team to continuously optimise the process.
  • Own the Risk assessment and governance framework for the function; Identify potential risks and establish controls for critical processes.
  • Drive the Enterprise risk governance framework for P2P and periodic Risk and Control self-assessments for the function.
  • Operationalise and continually enhance Metrics for the function that help us deliver the right outcomes and build best in class processes.
  • Ensure compliance to Risk and Governance related aspects including SLA, modification notes, billing inputs, growth approvals, JSR, Internal Reviews.
  • Drive transparency of HC and Inventory across different spaces, namely, HC, Billing, Inventory, SLA, etc.
  • Lead the GFS wide governance and administrative requirements for the function.
Others
  • Contributing to the effectiveness of the team by utilizing interpersonal skills to work with various finance and other cross functional members.
  • Leverage process / domain expertise to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement.
  • Adhoc support on the reviews, analysis, presentations, etc.

  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Finance professional with good understanding of cost and headcount management.
  • Good Understanding in Risk and Governance to perform the role would be an advantage
  • Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Domain skills on Planning / Budgeting and forecasting preferred
  • High standard of written English, with the ability to review, summarise and communicate materials accurately and succinctly.
  • Attention to details, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while delivering quality output to senior management
  • Handles ambiguity and possess the ability to conceptualise and articulate frameworks.
  • Appreciation for data visualisation and design best practices.
  • Excellent Ms PowerPoint and Ms Excel skills.

  • Effective, confident and persuasive Communicator - Verbally, written and with powerpoint
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and to be able to respond positively
  • Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset coupled with a thorough understanding of Planning processes in Banking Industry
  • Ability to effectively connect and communicate with all levels of the organisation (from senior Finance leadership to process practitioners and to adapt communication style appropriately)
  • A mindset of change and continuous Process Optimisation
  • Ability to quickly understand and connect with Operations team to drive the design and build structured processes
  • Able to quickly establish credibility when representing the Group, presenting a positive, persuasive, and professional presence and have an excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to culturally orient in diverse and international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams
