Step into a pivotal role on a dynamic, results-driven team advancing Cognizant's leadership in the Healthcare Payer industry. As Senior Manager, Marketing, Healthcare Payer, you will not only shape strategic brand awareness and lead generation programs to support Cognizant's Payer Services via TriZetto products and technology services, but you will also drive, and deliver these initiatives with hands-on ownership.
Reporting to the Head of HealthCare Marketing, this India-based position demands a proactive, self-starting approach. Success requires the ability to operate independently- rolling up your sleeves to create compelling content, build campaigns, and solve problems as they arise.
Crucially, you will collaborate seamlessly across business units and with corporate teams, uniting diverse stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and the strongest possible market positioning. Drawing on your expertise in the U.S. Healthcare Payer market, you will partner with business leaders and SMEs to develop outstanding materials and innovative marketing programs.
You are a hands-on marketer and strategic thinker in equal parts, committed to both vision and execution. Responsibilities Include
Here are the most essential duties and responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Support- Online and offline
Support the implementation of annual Healthcare Payer marketing plans.
Coordinate with key Healthcare Payer business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine marketing priorities.
Create marketing programs and materials aligned with business objectives.
Generate new ideas to differentiate communications about AI and Agentic AI.
Prepare messaging and collateral to promote key Healthcare Payer offerings.
Supervise teams located in India and the USA in developing and executing marketing initiatives.
Content & Campaigns
Support the head of healthcare marketing with other Healthcare Payer, Healthcare Provider, Trizetto and/or Corporate marketing programs as required
Drive thought leadership by developing and promoting original insights, perspectives, and points of view on emerging trends in Healthcare Payer, AI, and Agentic AI. Establish the organization as a trusted authority through authored articles, keynote presentations, industry commentary, and proactive media outreach.
Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, overseeing execution across key platforms to build brand awareness, engage target audiences, and extend the reach of marketing initiatives. Lead and execute marketing programs that support our TriZetto software products and technology services, including digital advertising and account-based marketing (ABM) programs and nurture campaigns
Events
Manage key Healthcare Payer events, working with a USA-based events associate to execute (events primarily in North America)
Support our USA-based events leader with the execution of the annual Health Sciences Conference, including theme and session development, team support coordination and promotion of the event internally and externally
Ensure that Cognizant products and services are represented and marketed appropriately at Cognizant-sponsored and industry events, conferences, tradeshows, and experiential events
Measurement & Reporting
Monitor and report marketing program KPIs including tactics and leads generated
Develop regular marketing status reports, including campaign, content and web performance for presentation to senior business unit and marketing management
Required Experience & Expertise
You have proven expertise in developing marketing programs and content.
5-8 years of experience, with experience in the Healthcare Payer industry preferred
People management experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of marketing best practices
Demonstrated digital and social marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to manage marketing campaigns that generate sales leads
Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Strong communications skills that enhance team collaboration
Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative
Willing to roll up your sleeves and execute
Fluency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot
Required Education
Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing or Business.
