Job requirements



Review, analyze, & draft a wide range of contracts & agreements, including but not limited to vendor contracts, service agreements, statements of work (SOW), letters of engagement, outsourcing contracts licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), data protection addendums & other legal documents. Engage in contract negotiations with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure the best interests of the company are represented while maintaining positive business relationships. Undertake ad-hoc legal project work including commercial contract due diligence and contract review to identify areas of risk and/or areas for improvement Ensure that all contracts & agreements adhere to applicable laws, regulations, & company policies and detrimental clauses. Identify & assess potential legal risks associated with contracts & provide proactive solutions to mitigate such risks and ability to conduct Legal due diligence. Maintain a contract management system to monitor contract status, key milestones, & renewals. Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, Statutory and regulatory issues, potential risks, & legal implications. Stay updated with relevant legal developments & precedents to enhance legal knowledge & ensure best practices in contract law. Work closely with the legal teams across the group (in particular in the United Kingdom) and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and legal projects. Create contract and communication templates, discuss legal strategy and advise on recent legislations and their impact on business Fair knowledge of litigation procedures in US, UK and India

Flexibility to handle evolving legal situations and adapt to changing business needs. A quick learner who is curious to learn new areas of law. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of contract law principles, contract drafting, and negotiation in the UK.
Knowledge of US, UK and India statutory and legislative requirements. Familiarity with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Prior Experience 12-18 years of experience working at a Senior position with exposure to UK and US procedures and Jurisdiction, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment.
Experience in reviewing cross border agreements, & knowledge of recent regulatory and statutory updates.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
Additional qualifications, such as an LLM, would be a plus
